Zamalek accept duo resignation, hire Shishini

Zamalek have appointed Sami Al-Shishini as assistant manager to newly-hired coach Michel Decastel, the Cairo club announced.

Shishini's selection follows the acknowledgement to the resignation of Ahmed Refaat and Ahmed Ramzi.

The duo quit their jobs after the arrival of Swiss tactician Decastel, despite their initial declaration that 'no changes will be made' with regards to the technical staff.

Former Egypt international Shishini, who has little coaching experience, will start over his new role on Thursday.
