Zamalek goalie Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed needs to rest just for one week to overcome a bruised pelvis, according to the White Knights' official website.

The injury-prone guardian is undergoing a rehabilitation program to regain his form before the end of the Egyptian Premier League stoppage period.

Zamalek's upcoming league match is taking place in February, which gives Al-Sayed enough time to fully recuperate from the injury he sustained last Sunday in the Cairo derby against Ahli.

What's more, midfielder Mohamed Abdullah has recovered from an ankle injury that kept him on the fringes for several weeks.

The 28-year-old has rejoined training, but not at full-strength as the medical staff recommended that he eases up in order not to suffer a relapse.
