A charity match between Ismaili and Jordan's Wehdat has been called off, according to the Dervishes' board member Walid Al-Kilani.

A charity match between Ismaili and Jordan's Wehdat has been called off, according to the Dervishes' board member Walid Al-Kilani.

The friendly game, which was scheduled for Friday January 16th, was supposed to support the casualties of Gaza Strip, as its revenue should have been all donated to the war-plagued Palestine.

"The match that was supposed to be held in Jordan was canceled due to security reasons," Al-Kilani told FilGoal.com.

Israel has been waging fierce air and ground attacks on Gaza for three weeks, and so far around 1200 civilians have been killed, while another 5200 have been brutally hurt.
