The former agent of Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery said that the French player is not as religious as he pretends.

Ribery converted to Islam upon his marriage to a French woman from an Algerian descent, and the 25-year-old has since been proud of admitting his Muslim identity.

However, the player’s ex-agent Bruno Heiderscheid was quoted as saying by Bild magazine that Ribery is just faking such religiousness.

"It doesn’t really touch me when I see Ribery raise his hands to god and pray before games," Heiderscheid said.

"He acts as a saint in front of people, while after games he enjoys his time with women. Nobody can imagine what they do wear in his presence."

According to Bild, Heiderscheid is bitter because of the way Ribery let him off, and that’s why the agent wants to ruin the player’s reputation.

Ribery was Heiderscheid’s client until the former Marseille man moved to Bayern in 2007.

Now the agent is filing a lawsuit, demanding Ribery to pay him 4 million Euros, as claimed to be the former’s share of the Munich move.
