Egypt striker Mido joined Wigan on loan from Middlesbrough to link up with his compatriot Zaki, who made a stunning impact in his first season in the elite competition.
Benitez, whose Liverpool side face Wigan on Wednesday night, expects that the duo will form a potent partnership.
"The understanding between them will be good and that will make them more dangerous for all the teams," the Spanish coach told Liverpool's official website.
Zaki and Mido will be hoping to find the net against Liverpool for the second time this season.
A powerful left-footer by Mido left Jose Reina with no chance during Boro's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in August last year.
But Zaki's display against the Reds was far more memorable.
The combative frontman scored twice in Wigan's 3-2 loss to Liverpool in October, including a spectacular bicycle kick.
"Zaki was the best player at Anfield and he is dangerous," Liverpool's Slovakian defender Martin Skrtel said.
