Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly played the whole game for Nasr, as the Saudi side beat Raed 1-0 in the kingdom’s league game played on Wednesday.

Ghaly, who recently joined Nasr from Tottenham in the Premiership, produced a solid display to help Nasr clinch the crucial win.

Striker Rayan Belal scored the only goal of the game in the 17th minute.

In another game, Ittihad’s Egyptian forward Emad Meteb was left on the bench during his team’s 4-0 win against Shabab.

Argentine coach Gabriel Calderon took the decision not to field Meteb, after the player was dismissed from the team’s Monday training.

Calderon wasn’t happy with the way Meteb reacted to his earlier substitution against Ahli.

In Meteb’s absence, strikers Nayef Hazzazi and Soltan Al-Namri scored twice each for the Jeddah club.
