ENPPI have signed Zamalek striker Mostafa Gaafar on a four-and-a-half year deal starting this January, to put an end to speculations over his future.

According to agent Mohamed Gaafar, the 27-year-old has joined the petroleum side for a fee of EGP 1.3 million.

"Gaafar will be paid EGP 500,000 in return for his services for the remainder of the season, and will get another 800,000 next term," the agent told FilGoal.com on Friday.

The beleaguered hitman was about to join Police Union days ago, but the deal collapsed over a disagreement about the transfer fee.

Gaafar, who joined the White Knights in 2006 from Baladeya, couldn't secure a regular place at the Cairo side over the past three years.

The former Baladeya man might make his first appearance for ENPPI on Sunday in the Egyptian Cup final against Harras Hodoud.

Meanwhile, Zamalek loaned out midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim to Gaish till the end of the ongoing season.
