Koffi, 24, impressed during his recent trial with the Cairo club, who experimented a number of foreign players in late.
"Koffi's fee was paid to his club and he should be eligible to play on Thursday against Ghazl Mahalla," Zamalek marketing director Khaled Refaat told FilGoal.com.
Zamalek were granted an exception by the Egyptian FA to register Koffi after the transfer deadline date on January 31st.
The promising striker spent last season on loan with Ivorian giants Africa Sports, where he helped them winning the league title.
Koffi, who is a junior international, was the Ivorian league's vice-top-scorer with 16 goals in 23 games last term.
Meanwhile, Zamalek star Shikabala is facing a fitness battle ahead of Thursday's game with Mahalla.
The midfield wizard will have a late test, after which his availability for Michel Decastel's debut match will be determined.
