Angola took a severe 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Mali on Wednesday night in a friendly game played in Paris.

Ahli duo Gilberto and Flavio Amado were named in Angola's starting eleven, but couldn't make much of an impact.

Soumaila Coulibaly, Yatabare, Frederic Kanoute and Seydou Keita netted all four goals on 14, 18, 35 and 66 minutes respectively.

In another warm-up match, Algeria, who have been drawn alongside Egypt, Zambia and Rwanda in Group C of the World Cup qualifiers final phase, beat Benin 2-1 at home.

Abdul-Kader Gazal and Kamal Fathi scored for Rabeh Saadan's side, whose victory was much-needed ahead of the eagerly-anticipated qualifying stage.

Libya lost 3-2 to visitors Uruguay, whereas Cameroon vanquished Guinea 3-1 in a game that saw Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o bagging a brace.

Morocco and Czech republic played out a goalless draw.
