The international defender's contract with Ahli will run out at the end of the season, and Gomaa confirmed that he has no special demands for signing an extension.
"Contract talks were postponed due to the team's recent commitments, but everything will be settled within the next couple of days," Gomaa told FilGoal.com.
Media reports suggested that Gomaa wants the million pounds compensation, after Ahli rejected an offer from Wehda in the Saudi League to loan the player.
"It's true that I received an offer from Wehda, but Ahli turned it down and it's the Cairo's club right to do so.
"I'm still under contract with Ahli and will not be asking for any compensation to sign an extension," added the 33-year-old.
Gomaa, who was loaned out to Siliya in Qatar last season, is one of only two Egyptians to be named in the African team of the year alongside Mohamed Abou-Treika.
