The 'best has come' for Decastel
Zamalek chairman Mohamed Amer revealed that head coach Michel Decastel is full of confidence over the White Knights' progress.

The Cairo side have lost twice so far in the Egyptian Premier League under the management of the newly-appointed boss, who believes his side will soon pull off better results.

Decastel met with Amer following Zamalek's 1-0 loss to Ittihad on Saturday, and the Swiss tactician is convinced there is nothing to worry about.

"Decastel assured me that Zamalek are constantly developing, saying that our upcoming results will be way better," Amer told FilGoal.com.

The beleaguered team slumped to three successive league losses, and now they are languishing in eighth place with 21 points, just three above the relegation zone.

Key Players

Decastel insisted to keep some of his key players on the fringes for being out of order.

Ghana front-man Junior Agogo and playmaker Shikabala have been excluded from Zamalek's squad for Saturday's match, while duo Sherif Ashraf and Olie Koffi formed a strike partnership.

"They need to show discipline first, otherwhise they wouldn't be back in action," Decastel said.

FilGoal.com understands that Amer is considering appointing a sporting director.

Former Ahli and Zamalek star Hossam Hassan and youth ranks supervisor Mahmoud Saad are both nominated for the vacant position.
