Young Africans chairman Iman Madega is aiming to 'make history in Egypt' and see his side eliminate CAF Champions League holders Ahli from the competition's early stages.

Yanga were drawn against the Egyptian giants in next month's round of 32, which usually provides no surprises for the six-time African champions.

However, Madega warns Ahli that they will get a contest against the Tanzanians, who hit 14 aggregate goals past Etoile d’Or Mirontsy in the first round.

"Ahli are a good team, yes, but we are also good, we are going to make history in Egypt," the Young Africans chairman was quoted as saying by daily newspaper The Citizen.

"We have a very good squad, good goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders as well as strikers; we are here to make history."

Ahli will host the first leg on March 15th at Cairo Stadium, whereas the return leg will be played in Dar es Salaam three weeks later.

The Tanzanian champions' last meeting with an Egyptian team was in the 2000 Cup Winners' Cup, when they lost 5-1 on aggregate to Zamalek.
