The Cameroonian hitman netted his 100th goal for Barca against Real Betis last weekend, taking his season tally to 23 goals in as many Liga games.
But Eto'o revealed his long-term ambition of returning to the Primera Liga strugglers, where he spent three seasons before joining Barca in 2004.
"The club that has my heart is Mallorca and at present I work for Barcelona. That is all," he told Sportweek.
"I would like to end my career with Mallorca. I had the chance to go to England or Italy, to return to Madrid or to go to Barcelona, I did not make a mistake."
Eto'o was poised to leave Barcelona last summer when new boss Josep Guardiola arrived, but the latter kept his faith in the 29-year-old.
"Last summer I was not really welcome at the club though because certain people doubted me," Eto'o added.
