Mohamed Samir's wonderful goal couldn’t prevent SK Lierse from a 2-1 defeat to Turnoi in the Belgian second division on Saturday.
The Egyptian full-back opened the score line for his team early in the first half, after meeting Jurgen Calins' cross with a brilliant volley.
However, Turnoi equalized on 22 minutes thanks to a Sebastien Dorizon penalty-kick.
The home side took the lead five minutes into the second-half when Algerian defender Icham Mouissi found the net.
The defeat leaves Lierse second in the Belgian second division, five points behind leaders St. Truidense.
