Zamalek assistant coach Sami Al-Sheshini believes that Friday's scoreless draw with Tersana in the Egyptian Premier League is an acceptable result.

Al-Sheshini hit out at his players for not abiding by the technical staff's strategy that was plotted ahead of the game.

He reckons that under the circumstances, salvaging one point is quite satisfactory.

"Our players were out-of-sorts and didn't follow the instructions they were given before the match," the former Egypt international said.

"If we had played for another 90 minutes with this style, we wouldn't have scored even once.

"For this reason, I think we have claimed a precious point."

Al-Sheshini also put his side's lackluster performance down to the unavailability of several players.

"We have some players on the sidelines and couldn't fill certain positions, especially in midfield," he elaborated.

"Other individuals took part in the game without being physically and physiologically ready."

Shikabala Injured

Al-Sheshini revealed that playmaker Shikabala was substituted because he sustained an injury.

"Shikabala suffered a muscle strain for breaking into numerous sprints throughout the match," he explained.

"He's one of those players who keep running during the whole game."

The match saw Zamalek extending their league winless run to six games.

The Cairo outfit now lie ninth with 24 points, while Tersana are languishing at the bottom of the table with 15.
