Ismaili coach Ricardo said that his team are capable of beating Esperance in Tunisia, when the two teams meet in the Arab Champions League (ACL) on Wednesday.

Following his team's win over Ahli in the league on Thursday, Ricardo confirmed that Ismaili are now in a suitable position to compete for both the league and the ACL titles.

"If we play the same way we did against Ahli, we can definitely beat Esperance," Ricardo told FilGoal.com.

Ricardo previously coached Hilal of Sudan against Esperance on a number of occasions, and the Brazilian added that he exactly knows how the Tunisian outfit play.

"I faced Esperance before and I know that they are a very tough side to play against. But I also know my players' abilities and I think we can win the away clash."

The Dervishes are set to fly to Tunisia three days before the ACL game, as Ricardo wants his players to fully adapt with the North African country's surroundings.
