Atletico Madrid hotshot Sergio Aguero said he is happy to stay at Vicente Calderon, amid speculation linking him with some of Europe's big guns.

The Argentine hitmanwas reportedly linked with Barcelona and Inter Milan in recent months, but he reaffirmed his willingness to stay in Madrid.

"I have enjoyed myself here and if the club wants me to stay, then I will stay," the 20-year-old told Spanish daily AS.

"If a player has several good games then offers may well be made, but as I have already said, if one is happy at a club then it is impossible to leave. There is no reason for it."

Aguero struck twice against Primera Liga leaders Barcelona on Sunday, to hand Atletico a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Catalans.

Now the ex-River Plate prodigy is ready to face city rivals Real Madrid at the Bernabeu this weekend.

"Barcelona and Real Madrid have different styles. Barca has better players going forward," Aguero added.

"Madrid like to attack, but not as much as Barcelona and I think that on Saturday we will need to play with four up front again."
