Ismaili refuted allegations in Tunisia that they have opened talks with Sfaxien over the summer transfer of goalkeeper Jassem Khaloufi to the Dervishes.

Tunisian newspaper Al-Sahafa claimed that Ismaili, who were recently in Tunis facing Esperance, are interested in the 28-year-old, but the Egyptian club's squad chief Khaled Faro denied the claims.

"We did not enter any negotiations with Sfaxien about their keeper. We have full confidence in our goalkeepers Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Fathi," board member Faro told FilGoal.com.

Ismaili were close to signing Iraq guardian Noor Sabri in the winter, but the deal fell through as there were no empty slots for foreign players.
