Real saw their ten-match winning streak ended by local rivals Atletico, whereas Barca eased to a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao. But Ramos refused to concede title defeat despite the six-point gap.
"We were able to reduce the eight-point gap with Barcelona to four points in just a couple of weeks," the Spaniard said after the game at the Bernabeu.
"So I believe we can do the same now that the distance between us is six points. The difference is just two games. There are 12 matches left in La Liga."
Anfield Game
The Real boss urges his side's charges for this week's UEFA Champions League round of 16 return leg at Liverpool, who have a one nil advantage.
"We must now concentrate on the Anfield game. It will be a tough and thrilling encounter and my men are anxious to make the fans happy," he said.
Real were eliminated from the last 16 phase of Europe's top club-competition during the past four editions.
