The Egyptian FA decided to spare Egypt Telecom coach Hossam Hassan from suspension.

Hassan, who was subjected to a hearing at the Federation on Sunday, apologised for his outburst against some Federation officials in November.

The Federation's official website confirmed that the pardon came as a sign of respect to Hassan's honourable history with Egypt and a number of Egyptian clubs.

The former Ahli and Zamalek star was expected to face suspension after he hit out at a number of FA officials when he was Masri coach earlier in the season.

Hassan accused FA board member Magdi Abdul-Ghani and the Federation's ex-vice president Ahmed Shobeir of trying to sabotage his image after he was involved in a row with referees during a Masri game against USM Bejaia in a regional competition.

The former PAOK and Neuchatel forward was appointed as Telecom coach on March 5th in an attempt to save the club from relegation.
