Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola said that stopping Lyon ace Juninho will be a key in ousting the French champions from the UEFA Champions League.

The Brazilian midfielder stunned Barca with an early free-kick during the two teams' 1-1 draw in the competition's last 16 round first-leg at Stade Gerland.

"It will be important not to give away free kicks around the box,” Guardiola said at a news conference on the eve of Wednesday’s return at the Nou Camp.

Guardiola added that his players will have to be very cautious against Lyon's possible counter-attacks, confirming that Barcelona will adopt an offensive approach to the game.

"The best form of defence is attack. I think they will wait until we lose the ball and try to hit us on the break."

Barcelona last won the Champions League in 2006, when the Blaugrana beat Arsenal 2-1 in a thrilling final under the guidance of Dutch coach Frank Rijkaard.
