"Our match against Nimes was very difficult because we faced Monaco in the French Cup three days earlier," Abou-Mosallam told Ajaccio's official website.

"The players were exhausted but thankfully we managed to claim all three points despite that hurdle."

Ajaccio snapped a six-match winless run when they beat Nimes to go five points clear of the relegation zone.
