Primera liga side Valencia are suffering a severe financial deficit that obliges them to offload the Spanish ace this summer in order to overcome their crisis.
It was reported that powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid want to run the rule over Villa, who apparently will stay in his homeland for another period.
"For sure he won't move on from Spain," Villa's agent Tamargo told El Mundo Deportivo.
Big-spenders Manchester City are believed to be interested in the services of the international striker, whose agent categorically ruled out the possibility of sealing an abroad move.
"I don't know what kind of contact there has been (between Man City and Valencia) or if they have reached an agreement, but he won't be playing away from this country," Tamargo said.
"It's not a question of money. At the moment Villa is only focused on the team."
