Petrojet coach Mokhtar Mokhtar was fuming after learning that his side's league match against Asyut Petroleum will not be aired on TV, according to the club's administrative manager.

"Mokhtar didn't understand why the match wasn't televised," Mostafa Hendawi told FilGoal.com on Saturday.

"Petrojet are among the league's top four so they should get more media attention.

"Mokhtar believes that some parties are trying to decrease the value of Petrojet, who are competing for the title."

The Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) are responsible for broadcasting all matches that take place in Egypt.

The TV networks who bought the rights to broadcast league games, like Orbit and Dream, can't air them unless ERTU does so.

Traditionally, Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek are the only clubs who have all their games aired on TV, arguably because they have the lion's share of supporters in Egypt.
