Nasr midfielder Hossam Ghaly said that it is impossible for him to play for Zamalek one day in the future, stressing on his loyalty to Ahli.

In an interview with MBC TV, the ex-Ahli schemer responded negatively when asked about the prospect of playing for Nasr's arch-rivals Hilal, before resembling the case to Egypt's top duo.

"I don’t think I would ever play for Hilal, because I am not willing to upset Nasr fans who welcomed me with open arms," Ghaly said.

"In the same manner, it is impossible for me to play for Zamalek because I am an Ahli supporter.

"Yes I'm a professional, but I would never think of joining Zamalek one day."

Ghaly, who has three years remaining on his Nasr contract, kicked off his career with Ahli, helping them to the 2001 CAF Champions League.

The 27-year-old was not selected by Egypt coach Hassan Shehata for this month's World Cup qualifier with Zambia.
