Ibra seemed super-confident over his side's chances prior to the game, but a 2-0 aggregate defeat to the reigning champions a fortnight ago shattered the Swede's ambitions.
"We know that he is disappointed," Branca told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It is just the sporting disappointment of a champion who really wanted to win the Champions League. I am sure he will get over it and there is no need to talk to him about it."
Ibra has established himself to become a pivotal member of the Italian giants' squad since joining in 2006, but his achievements were limited to domestic titles.
Branca's comments follow reports on Tuesday that 27-year-old hitman is pondering a move away from San Siro.
More Competitive
Meanwhile, Branca implied that Inter will make significant reinforcements in the summer, with the aid of high-spending chairman Massimo Moratti.
"There are no shortlists, but we want to make this Inter even more competitive,” the former Beneamata striker added.
"We will sit around a table and decide what we need to do to improve our squad.
"President Massimo Moratti has already made a lot of sacrifices and we will try to make things even better."
