Valdes, whose contract runs out in 2010, is at the center of attention of several European clubs, Gines Carvajal was quoted as saying by Spanish media.
"We have been waiting for eight months now, but nothing was said about the renewal," he said.
"Victor is only thinking about Barcelona but he is an exceptional keeper, who is targeted by four or five big clubs."
Italian reports said that Valdes could be a Milan target should they name Frank Rijkaard as their manager in the summer.
