Zamalek presidential candidate Mortada Mansour confirmed that he won't appeal the elections results even if he doesn't win the club's presidency.

The club's elections are scheduled to be held in May upon a decision from the country's Supreme Council.

"I'm ready to compete for the presidency with anyone," The former Zamalek president said in a press conference on Wednesday.

"I've won three previous elections as a board member and one as a president, which proves that the club members have full confidence in me."

Mansour refused to name his board members list, saying that he's just focused on winning the elections before deciding who will work with him in case he wins.

Another ex-Zamalek boss Mamdouh Abbas will also be running in the election against Mansour.
