ENPPI have reached the CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 after beating Zimbabwe's Caps United 2-1 on Friday, following a goalless first leg on March 15th.

Adel Mostafa put the Petroleum side ahead after heading home Ahmed Al-Muhammadi's cross from the right flank on 26 minutes.

The Egyptian side's slender lead was canceled out when Limited Chikafa scored for the visitors with a spectacular overhead kick 10 minutes after the hour mark.

ENPPI took the lead again eight minutes later when Ahmed Abdul-Zaher, who was introduced as a second-half substitute, made an instant impact and headed another inch-prefect cross whipped in by in-form winger Al-Muhammadi.

Anwar Salama's men took a stranglehold on the game in the first half, and squandered a host of clear-cut chances.

Both posts prevented the hosts three times from opening the scoring in the early minutes of the match, till Mostafa broke the deadlock.

In the dying minutes the home side were keen to net a third, but in vain.
