Samir did well for Lierse
The Egyptian pair of Mohamed Abdul-Wahed and Ahmed Samir dished out two assists to help Lierse draw 2-2 with Virton in the Belgian Second Division on Saturday.

Lierse's goals were scored through a brace from Tomas Radzinski on 6 and 58 minutes, while Moussa Koita scored twice for Virton.

Radzinski's first was scored after the former Fulham man turned Abdul-Wahed's free-kick in the back of the Virton net.

The Canadian striker added his second after similarly heading a Samir corner.

Jurgen Cavens had a chance to win the game for Lierse but he wasted a second-half spot-kick. The ref ordered him to re-take the penalty but the striker also missed the second attempt.

The result means that Lierse have a minimal chance of guaranteeing direct promotion to the Belgian Jupiler League.

The winner of the second division earns direct promotion while teams from 2nd to 5th go through a tournament, whose winner faces the 16th team in the Jupiler League to decide the second promoted club.
