Bayern back to winning ways

Bayern Munich revived their domestic campaign and romped to a 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena on Saturday.

The defending champions made up for the two drubbings they lately received. They lost 5-1 at VFL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, before slumping to an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Barcelona at Nou Camp in the UEFA Champions League.

France midfielder Franck Ribery opened the scoring only after three minutes, and Luca Toni doubled the Bavarians' lead on 17 minutes.

Brazilian defender Lucio, who was sidelined for a while due to injury, scored the third six minutes after the half-hour mark and Bastian Schweinsteiger put the icing on the cake on 48 minutes.

Now Jurgen Klinsmann's team are in second place with 51 points, while Wolfsburg, who defeated Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-1, remain three points clear on top.
