The Brazilian-born frontman has been struggling with a thigh injury for nearly a month but he is determined to make the crunch meeting.
"It was not a simple injury to recover from but the pain is gone now and I will be back by next week," Amauri was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia.
Second-placed Juventus trail leaders Inter by nine points with seven matches left to play.
Amauri, who is yet to decide whether to play for Italy or Brazil, believes Juve can still cause an upset and overtake Inter.
"The two strongest teams in Italy will be meeting. Mathematics still leaves us hope and therefore we must continue believing until it is impossible," he said.
"We must chase them and we are putting everything into that match. There are great expectations on our part, from the club and the supporters."
