Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa's first ever goal for Eskisehirspor wasn’t enough to prevent the team from losing 3-2 to Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

The Egyptian defender equalized for his team on 44 minutes to cancel out Barbaros Barut's sixth minute strike for Ankara.

Anderson put Eskisehirspor in the 58th minute, before Mehmet Yilmaz and Argentine midfielder Leonardo Iglesias won the game for Ankara with goals on 59 and 63 minutes respectively.

Al-Saqqa received his marching orders on 86 minutes after a tackle on Iglesias inside the box earned him a second yellow card and earned Ankara a penalty-kick.

However, the ex-Mansoura man was lucky Ankara wasted from the spot.

The defeat leaves Eskisehirspor eleventh in the Super Lig table with 33 points, as Ankara move to 16th on 30 points.
