The Egypt ace hit the opener only on three minutes after veteran goalie Mohamed Al-Deayea had to get out of the penalty area to make a long clearance, but Abd-Rabou immediately looped over the former international from inside the center circle.
However, Hilal replied fiercely to romp to a deserved victory.
Tarek Al-Taib canceled out Ahli's slender lead two minutes after the half-hour mark, and the one-goal deficit was overturned when Mirel Radoi scored on 53 minutes.
Yasser Al-Qahtani put the icing on the cake ten minutes later, but he partly marred the win when he was sent off late in the second period after launching into a spat with an Ahli player.
Hilal now lie second in Group A with eight points, two behind leaders Pakhtakor Tashkent, whereas Ahli are languishing at the bottom of the four-team group with a sole point.
