The two teams drew the first leg 1-1 in Nigeria, and Pillars chairman is hoping refereeing decisions won't negatively affect the return leg's outcome.
"Ahli are a big team, but we've no fear whatsoever. Our main concern for tomorrow will be having a good and fair referee," Babangida told FilGoal.com.
Pillars are taking part in the continent's prestigious competition for the first time ever, and Babangida believes his team have nothing to lose against the six-time champions.
"So far we've been doing very well in this year's Champions League. Our boys are very hungry and they want to make a good name for themselves and their club."
Not Impressed
When asked if any Ahli player in particular can pose a threat over his team, Babangida said that no one really impressed him during the first leg.
"I would have said Abou-Treika, but what we saw from Ahli in the first game was far less than what we expected from the African champions.
Despite failing to beat Ahli at home, the Nigerian champions' president is very optimistic about his side's chances of winning the tie in Cairo.
"We have very bright chance; otherwise we wouldn’t have come to Cairo," Babangida added.
"We know Ahli better now after the first leg, and I think we're capable of registering a result like a 2-2 draw or even beat Ahli."
