Van Gaal was heavily linked with the Bayern hot seat since the sacking of Jurgen Klinsmann last week.
Speculation on the matter increased when Bayern manager Uli Hoeness announced on Sunday that the Bavarians are close on bringing Van Gaal to Allianz Arena.
Van Gaal recently guided Alkmaar to their first ever Eredivisie title, and the board are keen on keeping hold of him ahead of next year's UEFA Champions League.
"Louis is under contract until 2010. A departure to another club is not negotiable." AZ president Dirk Scheringa told Sportweek.nl.
"I'm not worried about anything as Van Gaal is a man of principle who always respects his contracts. And we've not been contacted by Bayern."
The former Ajax coach has a clause in his contract allowing him to take over a national side on top of his AZ duties.
He is reportedly in talks with the Royal Belgian Football Association regarding the possibility of being the next Belgium coach.
