The 29-year-old picked up a major injury in the Dervishes' 3-2 victory over Masri in the Egyptian Premier League on March 13th.
Ismaili medical staff assured at the time he wouldn't get back in action this term, but Fadl is convinced the team's doctors failed to properly diagnose the problem.
"The diagnosis was inaccurate, and thus I received the wrong treatment," he told FilGoal.com.
"It turned out the muscle that was initially believed to be injured is actually intact.
"I won't be able to feature in Ismaili's next couple of games, but I will stand by my teammates and try to support them psychologically at this critical stage of the league."
Ismaili are now on top of the table with 57 points, three clear of closest rivals and defending champions Ahli, who have one more game in hand.
New Deal
Fadl, whose current contact runs out by the end of the season, stated that his future is still hanging in the balance.
"I don't think much about renewing my contract, I'm just waiting for Ismaili to offer me a new deal," he explained.
"But I didn't turn down a contract extension for EGP 3,5 million as recently reported, the club didn't make me an offer in the first place."
