Garcia will be running against former president Florentino Perez, who was famous for creating the unsuccessful Galacticos Real, which failed to win any silverware for four years.
Both candidates started firing promises of bringing world class stars to Real, and Garcia is confident that the Drogba deal will go ahead should he be the next president.
"We have agreements with three players including a Champions League centre-forward who scores goals in England," Garcia told AS.
"We could present him just after being elected. With people like Drogba we are looking for immediate results."
According to AS, the other two players promised by Garcia are Palmeiras playmaker Keirrison and Real Santander defender Ivan Marcano.
Drogba has been plying his trade at Chelsea since joining the London club from Marseille in 2004.
However, the Ivorian expressed a desire to exit Stamford Bridge on more than one occasion, especially since the departure of coach Jose Mourinho last season.
