Feyenoord keeper Sherif Ekrami decided to return to the Egyptian league after a disappointing spell at the Dutch side.

"I'm considering three offers from Egyptian clubs," Ekrami, whose contract with Feyenoord runs out in the summer of 2010, told FilGoal.com on Saturday.

"I want to play on a regular basis to earn a call-up to the Egyptian national team."

Ekrami, who came through Ahli's youth ranks, has been at Feyenoord since 2005 but made few appearances with them.

He spent an unsuccessful three-month loan spell with Turkish side Ankaragucu last year.

The 25-year-old, son of Ahli great Ekrami, who was also a goalkeeper, has been linked with a return to the Red Devils on numerous occasions.

"Ahli haven't made any contact with me but I would be very glad if I had the chance to rejoin them," Ekrami concluded.
