Harras Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri said there is no way he'll play the CAF Confederation Cup game against Ahli Tripoli without his Egypt players.

Following their away 0-0 draw against the Libyan outfit in the competition's last 16 round first leg, the return game will be held in Alexandria late in May.

"The Ahli game will be very important for us. We are representing Egypt in the Confederation Cup and we need to have our all assets ready for it," Al-Ashri told FilGoal.com.

Egypt will be facing Oman in a friendly on May 31st, and Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher earlier said that international players shouldn’t play in the Confederation Cup second leg.

"I'm really surprised by such call especially that none of my players is a starter at the Egypt squad."

"The best I can do is set the return leg for May 29th. This way international players will have 48 hours before the Oman game," Al-Ashri added.

The Egyptian Cup winners are likely have both winger Ahmed Eid and striker Ahmed Abdul-Ghani called up for the Oman game by Egypt.

The Oman friendly comes as part of The Pharaohs' preparations for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria on June 7, as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup on June 14th.
