Hodoud to face Libya's Ahli on the 31st

Harras Hodoud have set the 31st of May as a date for the Confederation Cup round of 16 return leg with Ahli Tripoli, hoping to have their Egypt internationals available.

The Alexandrians were facing a dilemma over Egypt trio Ahmed Eid, Ahmed Abdul-Ghani and Ahmed Saied 'Ouka', who were all selected for a friendly in Oman on May 30th.

Hodoud's continental tie was initially scheduled for the 29th of May, but they now have a chance to play with their star men.

"The three internationals will return to Egypt immediately after the Oman friendly," Hodoud assistant coach Abou-Taleb Al-Essawi told FilGoal.com.

"With the new date we can use them in the game, but if we were to play before the Egypt match, they would have been unavailable."

Hodoud need a win at Max Stadium to oust the Libyan side and book their quarter-finals ticket, following a goalless first-leg draw.
