Chelsea players will give coach Guus Hiddink a farewell gift following Saturday's FA Cup final, skipper John Terry said.

Hiddink's short yet successful tenure with the Blues is coming to an end. His last game in charge of the team will be against Everton in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

"There will be something from the lads. It would be nice to do it after we've won the trophy," Terry was quoted as saying by English media.

"There's no party, it's just a gift from the players. It's a nice way to say thank you for all his hard work.

"But we owe it to ourselves and Guus to win the FA Cup. That is the least we can do for Guus. We would love to win the FA Cup and send him off in style."

Hiddink, who is also the coach of the Russian national team, took over at Chelsea following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari last February.

The Dutchman made a decent impact at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea moved to within touching distance of second-placed Liverpool in the Premier League.

They were also on the verge of reaching the Champions League final but exited the competition in a cruel manner after a last-gasp defeat to Barcelona.

Chelsea fans are also preparing something special for the former Holland, South Korea and Australia tactician.

"I am told the fans have special big flag for me at Wembley and if so, I will be very pleased because I didn't expect that appreciation," Hiddink told Chelsea's official website.
