Zamalek's newly-elected chairman Mamdouh Abbas vowed to end Shikabala’s disagreement with the technical staff, and also to coax Junior Agogo into getting back to the Cairo club.

Abbas' promises were made in the wake of his triumph in Zamalek's presidential elections, after he evidently beat off competition from controversial attorney Mortada Mansour.

"I will bring Shikabala and Agogo back to the team, because nowadays competent strikers are extremely hard to find," the new Zamalek president told Al-Hayat TV.

Well-off businessman Abbas also assured that he's going to open talks with numerous players over potential summer deals to shore up the team before next season.

Undisciplined

Talented playmaker Shikabala has been taking no part in the White Knights' training sessions since falling out with the coaching staff, who in return kept him on the fringes for weeks.

On the other hand, Zamalek filed a complaint to world governing body 'FIFA' against muscular striker Agogo, after he unilaterally rescinded his contract.

The 29-year-old, who joined the 11-time Egyptian champions on a three-year deal during Abbas' first tenure last summer, was involved in a myriad of problems with the boardroom.

He was frequently accused of being undisciplined and irresponsible, while the Ghanaian marksman was hitting back at the club's officials every time he takes swipes.
