Harras Hodoud chairman Abdul-Rahim Mohamed expressed his discontentment with the recent outburst of coach Tarek Al-Ashri.

Al-Ashri slammed Egypt coach Hassan Shehata and FA officials over the selection of his players in a friendly with Oman, one day before Hodoud's Confederation Cup tie with Ahli Tripoli.

Subsequently, the former Egypt defender will be questioned by the FA, and chairman Mohamed is backing the Egyptian football governing body.

"The national team is a priority. Everyone involved with the club fully respects the Egypt technical staff as well as the FA," the Hodoud chief told FilGoal.com.

"We will be happy to see our players representing Egypt at any time.

"Al-Ashri's acts were totally unacceptable and we will talk to him after the FA decides on his sanction."

Al-Ashri, who is enjoying an impressive campaign in Alexandria, is likely to be fined by the FA after his uncommon tantrum.
