Morocco couldn't make the most of their chances to settle for a goalless draw with Cameroon in the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.

The visitors created a host of clear-cut chances during the game but failed to find the net.

Morocco's best opportunity fell to Merouane Zemmama after five minutes when his close-range shot hit the post.

The result did both sides no favor in their quest to book a place in next year’s World Cup in South Africa.

Morocco and Cameroon are third and fourth respectively in Group A with one point each, two adrift of second-placed Togo and five behind leaders Gabon.

The group winner will qualify directly for the World Cup while the runners-up and the third-placed team will settle for a place in the African Cup of Nations.
