Zamalek president Mamdouh Abbas said that his club will be able to win at least two competitions next season.

The White knights finished last season empty-handed, and Abbas, who was recently voted as chairman is confident the club can turn around their fortunes next campaign.

"We will be taking part in the Egyptian Premier League, the Egypt Cup and the Arab Champions League," Abbas said.

"I believe we have what it takes to win two out of those three trophies next season."

Meanwhile, Abbas stressed that his board don’t interfere in the club's football committee's decisions.

Recent reports suggested that some board members are at loggerheads with fellow members Hazem Emam and Ibrahim Youssef, who are in charge of the committee.

"I strongly deny such allegations. Emam and Youssef have the final word on the committee's decision and we as a board totally accept that," Abbas concluded.
