Zizou, who is an advisor for new Real chairman Florentino Perez, seems to be carrying the task of luring his former Les Bleus mate to the Bernabeu.

"I am in talks with Franck," the former Real virtuoso told French newspaper Le Dauphine Libere.

"He is a fantastic player who has his place at Real. And playing in this team is a career opportunity, which, to me, you do not refuse.

"It would be a nice opportunity for Franck. It is up to him."

Real are on brink of snapping up 2008 Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in a shock €95 million bid.

The Spanish titans, led by the audacious Perez, have already broken the bank by signing Kaka from AC Milan for €67 million.
