Brazil have a goal difference of plus-four which could help them go through even if they fail to beat Italy in their last group stage game.
Italy, who have three points after overcoming the US in their first match, face African champions Egypt later in the day.
Kaka said he and his teammates will just concentrate on their 'tough' encounter against the Azzurri.
"We don't have the possibility to choose the team we will face in the next round," a smiley Kaka told Arab Radio and Television (ART) following Brazil's win over the US.
"We just have to beat Italy in the next game, which will be very tough, to finish on top of the group and then we could think about the semi final."
European champions Spain reached the semis from Group B, leaving South Africa and Iraq to compete for the remaining qualification spot.
Two goals from Felipe Melo and Robinho in the first 20 minutes gave Brazil a comfortable lead over the US.
Right-back Maicon, who was given a starting berth instead of Daniel Alves, completed the rout in the second half.
"The result was very good. We played very nice today, congratulations to Brazil," Kaka added.
