Police Union snapped up free agent Rami Saied, whom Petrojet dispensed with at the end of last season.

"The deal officially went through. Saied's annual salary will be EGP 500,000," Police assistant coach Mohamed Ibrahim told FilGoal.com.

The 28-year-old defender played for Arab Contractors, Ahli and Ittihad before joining Petrojet last season.

The petroleum side released Saied in the summer, and now he's set for a new Egyptian Premier League adventure.

"The player has already joined Police's pre-season training camp in Alexandria. I guess he will be a good addition to the team," Ibrahim added.

"Having Reda Al-Azab and Saied definitely makes the right wing one of our strengths."

Before landing Saied, Police ran the rule over Samuel Kyere from Arab Contractors, Ahmed Hassan Farag from Ahli, Ahmed Galal from Masri and Mostafa Moushir from Olympic.
