Bayern have previously stated on numerous occasions that Ribery is not for sale. However, it is widely believed that the ex-Marseille man will leave the Bavarians.
"Ribery would prefer to play for Real Madrid than Barcelona," Ribery's agent Alan Migliaccio told RAC-1.
"The player has talked with Zinedine Zidane and he wants to play for Los Blancos for him."
Zidane was recently hired as Real's counsellor following the re-election of Florentino Perez as club chairman earlier this month.
The former Juventus and Real legend has since then promised to help sign Ribery and Milgliaccio is convinced that a possible deal with Real can only go ahead next month.
"At this moment everything is blocked because the people at Bayern are on holiday until the end of the month.
"I can't say anything else until we meet them in the next few weeks."
Ribery has been a hot property over the last few months after the 26-year-old's impressive performances with Bayern since joining the German giants in 2007.
